Massachusetts Dental Society Board of Trustees Welcomes New President

SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass. July 5, 2018 – The Massachusetts Dental Society, a 5,000-member professional association and statewide constituent of the American Dental Association, has announced that Howard M. Zolot, DMD, will serve a one-year term as President of the Massachusetts Dental Society Board of Trustees.

The Massachusetts Dental Society Board of Trustees is composed of the Officers and one Trustee from each of the 14 Massachusetts District Dental Societies.

Dr. Zolot most recently served on the board as President-Elect. He succeeds David P. Lustbader, DMD, as Board of Trustees President. Dr. Lustbader will continue to serve on the Board as Immediate Past President.

Dr. Zolot practices in North Andover, Massachusetts as a periodontal specialist at Merrimack Valley Periodontics. Dr. Zolot earned his bachelor’s degree in biology at Farleigh Dickinson School of Dentistry. Dr. Zolot also completed his master’s degree in physiology, and his doctorate in dental medicine at Farleigh Dickinson. He earned a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies, Periodontology at the Henry M. Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry at Boston University.

Dr. Zolot is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, and has held leadership roles at the Massachusetts Periodontal Society, Merrimack Valley Dental Society, Haverhill Dental Society, and was a member of the Greater Lawrence Dental Society. He has been a member of the Dental Auxiliary Advisory Board for Northern Essex Community College since 1993.
