Committee Areas of Focus
Each year, the Committee charge(s) is defined by the MDS President and Board of Trustees. The corresponding charges for the current governance year are:
- Improve personal connections with members through in-person grassroots meetings
- Coordinate grassroots events within each District
- Support legislation promoting oral health (i.e., grassroots events and Beacon Hill Day)
The following are the Committee's broad areas of focus:
- Continue to improve and grow attendance at Beacon Hill Day
- Consider new opportunities for members to engage in the legislative process
- Submit proposed legislative agenda to the MDS Board of Trustees
